Medicare in 6 Short Emails

This page is the on-site home of a six-day email course for people approaching 65, and it shows the whole syllabus before you decide. Day one covers Parts A and B. Day two lays out the two paths — a Medicare Advantage plan versus Original Medicare with a Supplement — and says plainly that neither is better, only better for a particular person. Day three is Part D prescription coverage. Day four is the enrollment deadlines and the permanent Part B late penalty. Day five is what it costs, including the IRMAA income surcharge based on your tax return from two years ago. Day six is a short checklist of next steps. Three of those days hand you a free tool on this site.

Signing up asks for an email address and a ticked consent box; a first name is optional. The consent wording is the text stored as your record: the six course emails only, one short email a day, no phone calls, no selling of your information, and a one-click unsubscribe in every email.

What it will not do: the course explains how Medicare works in general. It does not review your medications or doctors, quote a premium, compare the specific plans sold in your county, or enroll you in anything. Figures in the emails reflect the current plan year and change annually.

Next: sign up, or skip the inbox and go straight to those three tools. When your own dates and drugs need checking, a licensed advisor can cover the same ground in one conversation.
