Social Security Office Locator
This tool finds Social Security Administration field offices near you, using the SSA's own published office dataset.
Give it one thing: a five-digit ZIP code, or permission for your browser to share your location. It searches for offices within seventy-five miles, sorts them by straight-line distance, and by default shows only those in your state — so a border ZIP does not send you across the line. A link switches to every office within the radius, and if there are none in your state inside seventy-five miles the page says so and shows the closest ones anyway.
Each office card carries the name, distance, full street address, whether it is open today and until when, a tap-to-call number, an expandable weekday hours table, and a map link. The nearest office is flagged. A print button turns the list into something you can carry. Below it sits an optional card offering a call back from a licensed advisor — the only part of the page that asks for your name or phone number.
What it will not do: it does not book an appointment, file a Social Security or Medicare application, look up your benefit amount, or tell you which office handles your case. Office hours come from SSA data and can change — the page tells you to phone ahead, and that is worth doing.
So: ring the office before you travel. If your visit concerns Medicare timing, you can read about the enrollment windows here first, then confirm your own dates with SSA.
