IM65.com is a Medicare and senior-insurance resource operated by IM65, LLC. It explains how coverage works, does the arithmetic for you, and — when you want one — connects you with an independently licensed insurance agent. It does not sell insurance, and it never charges you.
Who runs IM65
IM65.com is operated by IM65, LLC. The company builds and runs the site itself: the plain-English Medicare guides, the calculators, the advisor and doctor directories, and the article library. The Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy are the legal documents that govern the site, and they name the same company.
IM65 is not an insurance carrier: it does not underwrite policies, and no plan on this site is sold by IM65. It is also not connected with or endorsed by the federal government or the Medicare program. The advisors listed here are independently licensed agents, not IM65 employees; when you speak with one, that agent is the licensed person in the conversation.
How an advisor gets listed
An advisor is listed here one of two ways. Some apply through our form, which cannot be submitted without a National Producer Number and a state license number. Others claim a listing we had already prepared from state producer-license records, and that claim is checked against the email the state has on file before anyone at IM65 sees it. Either way, a person at IM65 has to approve the listing before it appears anywhere.
A new application is stored unapproved. Until a person at IM65 approves it, it appears nowhere — not in the directory, not on the state or city pages, and not on a profile page of its own.
A listing is shown to visitors only while it is both approved and still active. Withdrawing either one removes that advisor from the directory pages, the state and city pages, and their own profile in the same moment, because one rule decides all of them. Each profile shows the states that advisor is licensed in and a tier, which decides where they appear in a list and how much of their licensing detail is published.
What we do not claim: IM65 does not continuously re-check a license with the state on your behalf. Anyone's producer license can be looked up directly through their state department of insurance, and we encourage it.
How IM65 is paid
Nothing on this site costs you money. Reading it, using the calculators, browsing the directories and asking for a call are free, and there is no membership or paywall.
Advisors pay IM65 a flat subscription for the software they use. IM65 takes no share of any commission, is not paid per lead, and is paid nothing by an insurance company for placing anyone with a plan. If you enroll in a plan through a licensed agent, the insurance company pays that agent a commission, exactly as it would if you had found that agent any other way.
Two product tiles on the site open an outside associate site that pays a referral commission, and those tiles say so where they appear. The doctor directory is compiled from public records; IM65 does not review, rate or endorse providers and is paid nothing for listing them.
What IM65 does not do
It does not sell insurance, quote binding coverage, collect a premium, or enroll anyone in anything.
It does not tell you which plan to pick. The guides, calculators and comparison tables are education; a plan decision belongs with a licensed person who knows your situation.
It cannot tell you what you qualify for, or check your own doctors and prescriptions against a plan.
It does not speak for Medicare. Plan availability varies by county, and Medicare.gov or 1-800-MEDICARE is where official plan details come from.
Who answers the phone
The number on this site is 1-800-613-5565 (TTY: 711). Hours are Mon–Fri 8am–8pm ET · Sat 9am–5pm ET. Calls are answered by a licensed insurance agent.
You can also write to info@im65.com or use the contact form. Nothing on this site requires a mailing address, and asking a question does not sign you up for anything.
How the articles are written
Most articles on the blog are researched and drafted with AI assistance from a verified figures table, screened by an automated quality gate, and published under the IM65 Editorial Team byline rather than a person's name — because no person wrote them.
A named reviewer line appears on an article only when a licensed agent has actually read it, and it carries that agent's name, National Producer Number and the date. The editorial standards page sets out the whole process, including what the writing process is not allowed to do.
