Your Turning-65 Calendar
Your Initial Enrollment Period (IEP) is seven months long. It covers the three months before your 65th birthday month, that month, and the three months after. Enroll in the first three months and coverage starts the first of your birthday month. Enroll in your birthday month or later and it starts the first of the month after you sign up.
This page turns a birth month into a printable wall calendar of your Medicare Initial Enrollment Period. The dates are not computed here. They come from the same functions the Initial Enrollment Period calculator and the Turning-65 Timeline use, including the rule that shifts the whole window a month earlier for anyone born on the first — so all three pages give the same answer or none of them do.
It is deliberately ungated. The Turning-65 checklist is offered elsewhere in exchange for an email, which is the right arrangement for a guide; it is the wrong arrangement for a calendar you are meant to print and keep on the fridge.
